COMSATS Institute of
Information Technology (CIIT) is among the Centers of Excellence of
Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the
South (COMSATS).
COMSATS was conceived by Nobel Laureate Prof. Abdul Salaam and
headquarter was established in Islamabad in 1994. Established in 1998,
CIIT is one of the fastest growing research-based institutions in
Pakistan, with a wide range of academic programmes (ranging from basic
sciences to cutting edge emerging technologies) and a network of
inter-disciplinary learning and research centers making it an ideal
