Admission Criteria
     
Eligibility Criteria

1. Bachelor's degree with minimum of 50% marks from an accredited institution  for candidates
    seeking admission in Masters programs and
    Intermediate or equivalent  degree with minimum of 50% marks from an accredited institution for candidates
    seeking admission in Bachelors programs
2. NTS test passed with good score
3. Aggregate score is calculated by using "Entrance Test & Competency Criteria"


What are aggregate marks ?
For admission in B.B.A or B.C.S or in any Bachelor degree aggregate would be calculated as follows
–Entrance Test & Competency Criteria
10% of Matriculation or equivalent marks
40% of Intermediate or equivalent
50%  –of NTS Test score    
 

For admission in M.B.A or M.C.S or in any Masters degree aggregate would be calculated as follows
–Entrance Test & Competency Criteria
10% of Matriculation or equivalent marks
15% of Intermediate or equivalent
30%  –of Bachelor or equivalent    
45% NTS Test score


What is NTS Test score ?

NTS is National Testing Service which takes aptitude test on announced dates, for admission in universities and other institutions all over the Pakistan. COMSATS only  gives admission to those students who have passed NTS test.

In which degree you can apply ?

1. Candidates who have done graduation or equivalent with 50% marks from an accredited institution,
you are eligible to get admission in  MBA

2. Candidates who have done Intermediate or equivalent with 50% marks from an accredited institution,,
you are eligible to get admission in  BBA

3. Candidates who have done graduation or equivalent with 50% marks from an accredited institution,
you are eligible to get admission in  MCS

4.  Candidates who have done Intermediate or equivalent with 50% marks from an accredited institution,,
you are eligible to get admission in  BCS

• B.C.S     Bachelors in Computer Sciences

Application Procedure

   1.

      Candidates may apply in response to admission notice appearing in the print media, on the prescribed application forms available in the campus prospectus
      
   2.

      Submit Admission Form along with the required documents (list is given in admission form)
         1.

            Bring NTS result card in case, you have cleared the test independently
             
   3.

      In case the final result of previous examination is awaited, then provision of a "Hope Certificate" from the institution last attended, can provide the basis for a conditional offer of admission at COMSATS
      
   4.

      A list of provisionally selected candidates is displayed on specified dates on the campus notice boards, as well as on the official website of COMSATS Vehari  and you can check online result here
      
   5.

      Selected candidates will be asked to bring the original documents to the Admission Office for verification within a specified time frame
      
   6.

      After verification of documents, applicants will be issued "Admission Offer" Letter along-with a Bank Challan form for payment of dues

Scholarships and Financial Assistance

COMSATS has ascertained following programs to facilitate deserving/needy students

   1.

      CIIT Pecuniary for Students, FSP (Financial Support Program). This program will financially support various categories of students of CIIT in the form of financial support, scholarships and stipends
      
   2.

      •Need Based Financial Support Program (NBFSP)
      Financial Aid is provided to deserving students (ascertained by financial assistance committee)
